MapleStory: Idle RPG Half Anniversary Festival has landed in full swing! To celebrate its sixth month milestone, Nexon is pulling out all the stops with exciting new updates and rewards. The festival is set to run until June 11th, offering players a plethora of engaging activities to dive into.
The standout feature of the festival is the 1+1 Burning Event, which provides a substantial leveling boost for characters between Level 20 and Level 98. By registering a Burning Character, players can enjoy double level-up benefits for 90 days, with a weekly Post-Burning Booster ensuring a constant flow of EXP at 100% for 100 hours post-Level 99.
Joining the festivities are two new Pirate-class jobs – Buccaneer and Corsair. Buccaneer brings a close-quarters combat style utilizing knuckles while partnering with a formidable Sea Serpent companion. On the other hand, Corsair opts for ranged attacks using firearms, supported by a crew of allies. These exciting additions add fresh dynamics to the game's meta.
Venture into the fray and challenge the fearsome Horntail boss across Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties. Defeating Horntail rewards players with coveted equipment pieces like Dea Sidus Earrings, Horntail Necklace, and Chaos Horntail Necklace. Additionally, Horntail is slated to feature as future guild raid content, making it essential for players to master its mechanics now.
Players can test their skills in the new Star Force Hunting Zone, a weekly mode where they must defeat monsters within a time limit based on their highest completed chapter stage, earning substantial EXP along the way. Boss raid entry has also been enhanced, allowing the simultaneous use of two tickets for increased rewards and raising the weekly ticket limit to four.
